Message: I have a 1995 Balboa Model DE-SUN200-DCAH spa pack with a chip number of SUN200R1B. I believe the circuit board to be a 50805. It does have a 15 inch heater manifold with a 5.5kW heater on a 240 volt electrical circuit and a rectangular topside panel.  Which model replacement spa pack would you recommend?   Thank you.

I can more easily answer your question if you provide me information on your pumps?  How many?  Is one of them a circulation pump/ Are any of them 2-speed?

What you then need to buy is the VS501Z spa pack, not the complete retrofit kit.  Whether or not you can reuse your existin gtop  side control panel panel depends on what type it is.  Send me a photo of it to [email protected].  I will be able to tell from the photo whether it is likely to work with the new spa pack.   Dieter
